As the Government of India (GoI) intends to implement a National Education Policy (NEP) to fulfill the changing dynamics of humans’ requirement for exceptional schooling, innovation, and research, the School Education Directorate organized a State consultative meeting on Draft NEP 2019 at the Capital Convention Centre here Tuesday.

NEP envisages making India a knowledge superpower by equipping its college students with vital competencies and understanding. The draft focused on ensuring the right of entry to fairness, quality, affordability, and duty of the education system in the country. Former CBSE director (Acad) NEP consultant G Balasubramanian stated this throughout the PowerPoint presentation on Draft NEP.
He stated that GoI has launched a time-sure grassroots consultative technique, which might permit the Union Human Aid Development (HRD) ministry to reach out to individuals nationwide through direct consultations and take input from residents online.
